Walkthrough
Three screens, one clear path. This guide explains exactly what happens at each stage of the search, what data is used, which search method to pick, and where the sponsored verification step fits in.
Three steps
Select photo, name, email, phone, username, or address.
Add your details and start the search.
See profile results and complete the transparent verification step to view matching profiles.
You pick one of six inputs: photo, name, email, phone, username or address. The form adapts its field and placeholder to the choice you make, so the prompt always matches the search method you selected. A photo is previewed in your browser so you can confirm you selected the right file before the search starts. Text inputs stay in the page until you submit the search — nothing is uploaded to an external database or used for facial identification.
When you start the search, the tool moves through four labelled stages: it analyzes your input, scans public signals, compares profile matches and ranks the results. The stages describe the interface, not a real lookup — no external identity database, no Instagram request, and no facial comparison takes place.
Matches profile cards appear blurred behind a lock overlay, followed by a quick verification step. Complete the step to reveal the matching profiles.
The best input is the one you already have. Usernames are the most exact, names are common but ambiguous, and a photo only works when a publicly indexed copy of that exact image already exists somewhere on the web.
When you're ready, start at the Profile Tracer tool or read the FAQ.
